Welcome to Astbury St Mary’s CE Primary School. It is a privilege to lead our school community and to work alongside our children, families and staff to create a place where every child is valued, supported and inspired to flourish.

At Astbury, we want every child to feel that they belong, that they matter and that they can achieve great things. We are a caring Christian community where strong relationships, a love of learning and a commitment to every child’s future sit at the heart of all we do.

Our Christian vision, “Walk in Love,” guides our choices, our relationships and the way we care for one another. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus and the Fruits of the Spirit, we encourage our children to show kindness, live peacefully alongside others and develop self-control in their words, actions and decisions. These values are not simply words; they are qualities we seek to nurture and demonstrate in our everyday lives. We want our children to grow into thoughtful, compassionate and responsible individuals who recognise the difference they can make to the lives of others.
