Each year we ask parents for formal feedback through the school questionnaire. There are other opportunities for you to give your feedback on a more regular basis (verbally to staff, in homework books, reading diaries) or please leave us a review on our facebook page. An amazing school! It has such a caring, family atmosphere and the staff are great. It is such a relief as a parent to see your children happy about going into school each day and to know they feel comfortable there. They are treated as individuals and are given lots of opportunities to learn. In the words of my son, “We do lots of fun stuff”! I am happy with the way my children are progressing and the standard of education they are receiving.

As a family, we have had 3 children go through  Astbury school dating back to 2005!  We originally chose the school because we wanted to send our Children to a school where they would they would be known personally, unlike some of the large primary schools where you are one hundreds… At times, Astbury school feels like a small private primary school (without the fees!). The setting is beautiful and everyone has always been really friendly.  We have grown to love the school and we can honestly say that both of our boys who are now 16 and 18 came away from the school confident and happy. Academically they  came out of Astbury really well.  They both have really happy memories of their days at Astbury school.   My eldest son, has just started Bangor university coming out of Sixth form college with 2 A’s and  B. My second son has just completed his GCSEs and we await his results as I write this review. My youngest, my daughter, is still a pupil at Astbury School and she loves the school!

Out of all the head teachers we have experienced at Astbury we find Miss Blythe by far the best by a country mile. She brings her wealth of experience and integrity to the role and her love and care for the pupils is really evident, her desire for the school to be one of the best schools around is also very evident to see in all the improvements she is implementing. She has an excellent team around her and though the school is small, she is nurturing an exciting future for the school.
