Remote Learning

Our approach to remote education adheres strictly to Department for Education (DfE) guidance, ensuring learning continuity as a temporary measure when physical school attendance is restricted.

Level 1 (Short-term / Individual Absence): Designed for pupils recovering from illness or procedures who are well enough to engage in learning. Core tasks in reading, maths and spelling keep pupils on track without placing pressure on unwell children.

Level 2 (Emergency / Whole-School Closure): Implemented via Google Classroom during unplanned closures (e.g., severe weather). Includes daily timetable plans, direct teacher input for English and Maths, live Q&A support, adapted learning for SEND needs and structured feedback.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing: All remote delivery follows strict online safety and acceptable use policies, with built-in pastoral support to maintain pupil wellbeing and connection.
