Our House Teams
Together we belong. Together we achieve. Together we walk in love.
At Astbury St Mary’s, our House Teams bring children together across the school. They help us build friendships, celebrate achievements and learn that we can accomplish wonderful things when we work as a team.
Our House Teams are an important part of our school family. Whether we are learning, playing, taking on a challenge or helping others, we encourage everyone to show kindness, peace and self-control as we live out our Christian vision to “Walk in Love.”
Meet our House Teams
🔵 St Andrew – Blue
🟡 St David – Yellow
🟢 St Patrick – Green
🔴 St George – Red
Every child belongs to a House Team and every child has something valuable to contribute. We encourage one another, celebrate our successes and remember that being a great team member is about much more than winning.
Earning House Points
House points recognise the positive choices children make every day. Points can be awarded for good manners, effort, presentation in books, helpfulness and positive responses to adults.
Each week, our points are collected and announced during our Friday celebration worship by our Head Boy and Head Girl.
Our 1,000 House Points Challenge!
Our House Teams are working towards an exciting shared goal: earning 1,000 house points to win a non-uniform day!
This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to play their part, encourage one another and celebrate the small things that make a big difference. Whether it is showing kindness to a friend, persevering with a tricky task or being a helpful member of the school community, every positive action matters.
We will keep everyone updated as our House Teams work towards the magic number. Can we reach 1,000 points together?
