Pupil Leadership

At Astbury, we believe every child should have the chance to use their voice, take responsibility and make a positive difference within our school community. Our pupil leadership groups give children meaningful opportunities to lead, influence decisions and shape the world around them.

Each year, pupils can put themselves forward for roles such as Head Boy, Head Girl, School Council, Ethos Council, Safety Council, Play Leaders and Sustainability Champions. These groups work together to improve school life, champion important causes and represent the views of their peers.

By encouraging children to speak up, collaborate and lead with kindness, we help them grow into confident young people who understand that their ideas matter and their actions can create real change.
