Sustainability Champions at Astbury

Our Sustainability Champions help lead Astbury’s commitment to caring for God’s creation and protecting Planet Earth. These pupils work together to promote environmentally friendly habits across the school, encouraging everyone to make small changes that add up to a big difference.

Sustainability Champions focus on key areas such as recycling, reducing water waste, cutting down on food waste, and making thoughtful choices about energy use. They help monitor recycling points, share tips with classes, support eco‑friendly projects and lead campaigns that inspire pupils to think carefully about how their actions affect the world around them.

Through their leadership, Sustainability Champions show that every child can play a part in protecting our planet — today and for the future.
