Play Leaders at Astbury

Our Play Leaders help make breaktimes happy, active and inclusive for everyone. As positive role models, they support younger pupils, encourage fair play and help create a calm, friendly atmosphere on the playground.

Play Leaders take responsibility for setting out equipment, organising simple games, and tidying resources away safely at the end of each session. They learn how to work as a team, solve small problems independently and make sure all children feel welcome to join in.

Through their leadership, Play Leaders help promote kindness, cooperation and active play — showing that even small actions can make a big difference to our school community.
