Our RSHE Curriculum

PSHE, Relationships Education and Health Education

Our school teaches PSHE to help pupils develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life. PSHE includes statutory Relationships Education and Health Education, alongside wider learning linked to wellbeing, safety, respect, responsibility and personal development.

Our PSHE Curriculum

PSHE is taught through planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Learning is organised across year groups so pupils revisit important themes over time and build their understanding as they move through the school.

Using Muse Wellbeing

We use Muse Wellbeing to support PSHE planning and delivery. Muse Wellbeing provides structured lessons, curriculum overviews and statutory mapping documents for Relationships Education, Health Education and wider PSHE.

You can find out more about the primary PSHE curriculum we use through Muse Wellbeing. Our school remains responsible for how PSHE is planned, delivered and reviewed in our setting. We adapt resources to reflect our pupils, community, statutory guidance and local decisions.

Our PSHE/RSHE Policy

Our PSHE/RSHE policy outlines the approach to Relationships and Health Education (RHE) in CDT schools emphasizing Christian values, inclusivity and compliance with legal guidelines, while allowing input and the right to withdraw from sex education.

This policy was shared with parents on 6th November 2026.
